one more thing about voting that came to my mind: it gives people more direct influence and they start to think more deeply about what they have to vote about.
if iŽd tell the editors "come on give zero points to cs because they recently wrecked all the data" weŽd maybe have an arguement about this and in the end i wouldnŽt see any influence from my suggestion and feel as a looser. if people vote they can see their influence even if they didnŽt "win".
than again i know what you mean with the bad experiences from wikis, so maybe we should wait with votings till there are enough capacities for conflict solution. on the other hand: such capacities donŽt fall from the sky
somehow the votes shouldnŽt be valid till the end of the world, i mean people change and so do opinions.

» The ranking of the networks is based on the editorial part of Hosp.Ex Ne>t
» (although it isn't up to date right now anymore and needs some attention)
» and that is the special thing about Hosp.Ex Ne>t. On the
» Wiki
» and
» here

» editorial team who stands behind the given information, so everybody can
» judge about it themselves. We hope that we can expand this 'expertise' in
» the future.
»

»
» I think at some points it would be good to have a voting - let's keep it
» in mind.
