I am pretty new to this whole thing and have not tried it out, yet. I just wondered if you know what sort of people is using the networks? It does make the impression to me that there are travelers using the networks, but that there are also many local people using the networks (for what ever reasons). It seems as they try find people to hang out with or to make (new) friends. I did sign up for the first (on CouchSurfing) and do find the invitations to the local meetings quite annoying. Maybe it is just me. Do you know if all the networks are the same or are there differences?
